Healthy Holiday Donuts & Cookies

Hey holiday hunnie! All we want for Christmas is YOU…and some treats under the tree! 😋🎄❄️The other day at the HQ, we whipped up some amazing new TIU approved holiday desserts for you! Gingerbread donuts and peppermint cookies…I mean, what could be better?! These recipes are made with Tone It Up Protein and more delish and healthy ingredients…so they make the nice list ;)

Serve these up at your next holiday party. They’re super easy to make and we know your guests will love them ~ they won’t even know they’re healthy 😉!

Holiday Cheers Gingerbread Donuts 

The best combo ever ~ donuts and Health-Ade Kombucha 🙌🏻 We’re obsessed with the Holiday Cheers flavor this time of year to get into the spirit. And it tastes amaaaazing in baked treats like these. Plus, kombucha has so many perks like boosted immunity and glowing skin!

Makes 12 donuts (serving size is 1 donut) 

INGREDIENTS

1 cup chocolate Tone It Up Protein

1 cup almond flour

2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. ground ginger

1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

1/4 tsp. ground cloves

1/2 cup almond milk

1/3 cup coconut oil

6 Tbsp. maple syrup

2 large eggs

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1/2 cup Holiday Cheers Health-Ade Kombucha

Coconut oil spray

ICING

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

3 Tbsp. Holiday Cheers Health-Ade Kombucha

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Sprinkles (optional)

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350.

2. Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Mix all wet ingredients together in a separate bowl. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.

3. Spray two donut pans with coconut oil spray. Divide the batter evenly between each donut hole.

4. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let donuts cool completely before icing.

5. While donuts are baking, prep the icing! Combine all icing ingredients, except sprinkles, in a medium bowl.

6. Dip each donut into the icing. Decorate with optional sprinkles and enjoy!

Holly Jolly Almond Peppermint Cookies 

Makes 16 cookies (serving size is 1 cookie) 

INGREDIENTS

1 cup vanilla Tone It Up Protein

1 cup almond flour

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. peppermint extract

2 Tbsp. coconut oil, melted

6 Tbsp. maple syrup

2 large eggs, whisked

1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Peppermint Skinny Dipped Almonds, crushed

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Combine all ingredients, except Skinny Dipped Almonds, in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.

3. Once the batter is evenly mixed, add Skinny Dipped Almonds.

4. Scoop the batter into 1 Tbsp. balls, then flatten on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Enjoy now or store in the fridge in your TIU meal prep containers!
